What changed in macOS 27

An OS update is a reason to check each app's supported versions, not proof that every menu bar manager is broken. Our architectural research remains unverified against the current macOS build. Read the compatibility research checklist.

Is Tuck ready for macOS 27?

One stable release for macOS 14–27. Includes improved Shelf image retention, sleep/wake recovery, and 20 optional Pro dynamic icons. On macOS 27, core system controls remain visible and items from the same app are managed together. Screen Recording enables original menu-bar images in Shelf; without it, app icons are used. Compatibility guide

See the macOS 27 compatibility guide for the full breakdown of channels and versions. If your current menu bar manager stopped working after updating, see the replacement guide.
