Preview 14 improves startup and login stability on macOS 27 by reconciling the menu bar again after login items finish registering. It preserves Preview 13's spring-back fix and the locally verified LanguageTool, Mos, and Rectangle flows. Command-X was verified by Keith on a Mac mini M4 running macOS 27 Beta 5.

  • Core macOS controls such as Wi-Fi, Sound, Control Center, and the clock stay visible.
  • Items from the same app are managed together.
  • Individual iStat Menus icons still cannot be hidden independently; multi-item hosts use group-level fail-open protection.
  • Some menu bar items may not open from Shelf. Choose Show All to access them.
