Privacy Policy

Overview

Tuck is a macOS menu bar organizer built with a privacy-first approach. The app makes zero network requests and collects no telemetry, analytics, or tracking data of any kind.

Data the App Collects

None. Tuck runs entirely on your Mac. It does not connect to any server, send any data, or track your usage. Your menu bar configuration stays on your device.

License Validation

If you purchase Tuck Pro, your license key is validated locally using an offline cryptographic signature. No server call is required after the initial activation. The only network request occurs once during activation to register your machine with our license server.

During activation, we store:

• Your email address (provided during purchase)
• A machine identifier (hardware UUID)
• The license key

This data is used solely to enforce the 3-machine limit per license and is never shared with third parties.

Payment Processing

Payments are processed by Paddle (paddle.com), our Merchant of Record. When you purchase Tuck Pro, Paddle collects your payment information, email address, and billing details. We do not have access to your credit card or payment method details.

Website

The Tuck website (usetuck.com) is a static site hosted on Cloudflare Pages. We do not use cookies, analytics scripts, or tracking pixels. Cloudflare may collect basic server logs (IP address, request time) as part of their standard infrastructure. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Paddle — Payment processing and tax compliance
• Cloudflare — Website hosting and API infrastructure
• Resend — License key delivery emails

Each service has its own privacy policy. We only share the minimum data necessary for each service to function.

Data Retention

License records are retained for the lifetime of your license. If you request a refund and your license is revoked, we delete the associated record from our systems.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you. Contact us and we will respond within 30 days.

Children's Privacy

Tuck is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
